Servings:
makes about 2 dozen truffles
Ingredients:
4 ounces semi-sweet baking chocolate
2 cups (20 cookies) finely crushed Oreo cookies
1 cup ground almonds
3 Tbs. whipping cream
2 Tbs. orange juice
chocolate sprinkles, cocoa powder or powdered sugar
Directions:
Melt chocolate in double boiler.
Cover and chill one hour or until mixture is easy to handle.
Shape into one inch balls.
Roll balls in sprinkles or powder.
Place in truffle cups.
Store in the refrigerator or freezer.
Serving Suggestions:
Experiment with toppings - try rolling truffles in
chopped nuts, colored sprinkles, etc.
