Servings:
makes 1 medium thick crust or 1 large thin crust pizza
Ingredients:
2 cups bread flour
2/3 cup lukewarm water
1 Tablespoon dry yeast
1 Tablespoon olive oil
1/4 teaspoon salt
cornmeal
1/2 cup mozzerella cheese
1/2 cup cheddar or American cheese
olives, mushrooms, pineapple, hamburger, etc.
Directions:
Preheat oven to 500 degrees for 1/2 hour before baking.
Mix together all ingredients except the flour in a
mixing bowl until dissolved.
Add the flour and mix until a ball forms.
Add more flour if dough is sticky to the touch,
or more oil if it is too dry.
Allow dough ball to rise slightly.
Roll dough out on a cutting board or counter dusted
with cornmeal.
Place on greased pizza pan
(or add toppings and use a pizza peal to transfer pizza
onto baking stone).
Add pizza sauce, one cup cheese and your choice of toppings.
Bake for ten minutes or until crust center bubbles.
Serving Suggestions:
Use less sauce and cheese, or bake longer for a crisper crust.
Experiment with toppings!
