Indian Fry Bread

Ingredients:
4 cups flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups water

Directions:
Stir dry ingredients, gradually adding water.
Add more flour if needed.
Knead dough until it no longer sticks to hands.
Place on floured surface.
Shape into round balls, then flatten.
Punch holes in center.
Deep fry in large skillet, half filled with oil.
Fry 5 minutes on each side.
Serve hot or cold, with sugar and honey
or as base for tacos.
