Servings:
makes 6 servings
Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter
1 cup flour
1 cup sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 cup milk
1/4 tsp. salt
1 16-ounce can fruit pie filling or fruit
Directions:
Melt butter in a casserole dish (Pyrex works well).
Stir in flour, sugar, baking powder, milk and salt until
all lumps are gone.
Dump the fruit on top, but DO NOT
stir it in.
Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees F.
Serving Suggestions:
Vary the type of fruit used.
I like peaches, but
apples, pears and cherry pie filling all work well, too.
Best served warm with ice cream.
